How to join Oakland Kendo Dojo

You will need to do a few things:

1. Download, fill out and sign the OKD Membership Application and AUSKF Waiver/Liability form below.
2. Go to Membership Fees to determine your membership costs and follow the payment instructions.

*If this is your first time registering with AUSKF, there is an additional $50 initiation fee to include in your payment.

**Northern California Iaido Association (NCIA) $35. Please include in your payment if participating.

Register your membership by March 14, 2024
Dues are payable by April 1, 2024. See below for payment options.

NCKF, AUSKF, Oakland Kendo Dojo and NCIA (if applicable) dues are payable by April 1, 2024. If not received you can still register at a later date but you may not qualify to attend certain events. Annual dues are from April 1st to March 31st each year.

Family Discount

First member pays applicable rate above. Second member will pay the regular Federation dues (AUSKF/NCKF) and 1/2 of the Oakland kendo dojo dues. Additional members will pay the regular Federation dues and NO Oakland kendo dojo dues.

If you are an out-of-the-area or non-active member and you want to be registered with the Federation, cost will be:
Federation fees ($110 for adult or $70 for youth), plus a yearly Oakland kendo dojo fee of $20.

How you can pay

Please review and include all of the fees listed. Annual dues include Oakland Kendo Dojo dues, All United States Kendo Federation, Northern California Kendo Federation and Northern California Iaido Association dues (if applicable).

Oakland Kendo Dojo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all of our instructors are volunteers who donate their time. Please note the all fees are nonrefundable and must be paid prior to starting.
