  • OAKLAND KENDO DOJO 70TH ANNIVERSARY

    2023 was a very special year for us - we celebrated our 70th Anniversary. As part of our celebration, we hosted a 70th Anniversary Commemorative Tournament on July 30, 2023 held at Alameda High School in Alameda, California.

    Over 150 entrants participating from Northern California Kendo Federation and Central California Kendo competed in 10 divisions with finalists competing for
 the Miyata Hai Championship and 12 team Federation dojos playing in team matches.

  • Dutch Prime Minister visiting the Oakland De Fremery
